Service Description

Kaiwa Creatures is an AI-powered Japanese language learning app. Users practice spoken Japanese through voice and text conversations with AI-powered creatures, each covering different topic categories such as daily life, food, and travel.

User Responsibilities

By using Kaiwa Creatures, you agree to:

• Use the app only for its intended purpose of language learning.
• Not attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or access restrictions.
• Not use the app to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Subscriptions and Payments

Kaiwa Creatures offers a free tier with daily usage limits. Premium features are available through an in-app subscription.

• Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and processed by RevenueCat.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings under Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Conversations in Kaiwa Creatures are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally contain errors in grammar, vocabulary, or cultural context. Kaiwa Creatures is a supplementary learning tool and is not a replacement for formal Japanese language education. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any AI-generated content.

Intellectual Property

The Kaiwa Creatures app, including its design, creature characters, artwork, and code, is the intellectual property of Kaiwa Creatures. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our written permission.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings screen in the app. Upon deletion, your account information is removed from our server and cannot be recovered. Locally stored data can be removed by deleting the app from your device.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Kaiwa Creatures at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the service.

Limitation of Liability

Kaiwa Creatures is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall Kaiwa Creatures be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
